Meet Our Vendor: Soda Jerk Soda

We love working with Cory from Soda Jerk Soda over the years and he’s the guy you should thank for getting us motivated to do Gobble Up!  We have mulled over various food-centric ideas for awhile but he’s the guy that really kicked us into gear to do it!

Where does your passion for food come from?

I have a need to create, working with food and beverages provides a near immediate result. I love the beverages I create and sharing them with people.

Tell us about your culinary journey.

 I honestly have no culinary training, I just have a drive to create new flavors combinations and beverage experiences. I enjoy what I do and the surprise and delight on people’s faces after trying my sodas is a great reward.
Where do you source your ingredients?
We use only real ingredients to flavor our sodas and this includes fruits, herbs and spices. We always buy locally from our friends at the farmers markets when we can. We choose organic and seasonal ingredients whenever possible.
What will our fans find at your booth this fall?
We are introducing pre-bottled sodas for the first time! We have chosen to make our three customer favorites available in 32oz bottles. These three flavors are great just as they are, but make some of the most amazing cocktail mixers of all of our flavors. They’ll soon be coming to a store near you.
What are your goals for your business in the next year?
We hope to get our bottles and kegs in retail stores, restaurants and bars all over Seattle.
What’s your favorite part of this food movement?
Eating everything.
